About
Meet Nicole August
Babies and new families are my passion. Whether it's helping brand new parents in those first few days after bringing baby home, or guiding a baby into a routine, I bring years of knowledge and experience to my work. I've been caring for children for 15 years, and while I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, I decided to pursue Child Development. I am fascinated by babies and children and have focused my career on the best ways to promote healthy development. I find joy in learning new things about each child I work with and the intricacies that make them all unique.

In 2009 I began my career as a newborn care specialist and sleep trainer. Over the years I have worked with twins and multiples, singletons, and have enjoyed empowering families to better understand and care for their babies. Part of what I specialize in is helping get your family on a schedule that works for your lifestyle, and creating a care plan for your baby by implementing open lines of communication and collaboration so that everyone is at ease.

I bring a calm, nurturing demeanor to each household I support, and families notice right away how my presence sets an easeful tone. I do this by sharing everything I know about newborns and their development, instilling confidence in new parents, showing them how to identify their newborn's needs, and ultimately, lower stress by normalizing the ins and outs of the newborn period. This is work I truly love, brings me joy, and I know that comes through when I work with my clients. It would be a pleasure to serve you as you welcome your little one into your family, and I am happy to schedule a consultation to discuss your needs and vision of your early parenthood journey.

Family is everything!

This is me with my beautiful family. I wanted to share this image with you to emphasize how important family is to me. It was becoming a mother myself that sparked my desire to become a newborn care specialist. It was my experience being pregnant, birthing, and raising these amazing humans that led me to YOU! Your family, when in my care, is my top priority and my experience, education, and own family all contribute to how I am able to serve my clients so well. I look forward to meeting your family and helping you THRIVE!
